Well howdy Big Brother, it's JU Double D here to bring some pure South.
I have waited to pop in the Diary Room because I have been buzzing around the house trying to spread my Southern hospitality. There's so many people to meet and get to know, plus compete in challenges. Whooo that's a fast pace for this ole boy.
Most everyone has been really nice and I think this will be a fun season - here's my thoughts.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
• AMANDA - Haven't really talked to her much, and she's not around a lot. I am immediately turned off by her "character", so until I talk to her more I don't see us working together. Alliance Potential: -3.
• BART - Talked to him pretty briefly and he seems like a really nice guy. We haven't really "hit it off" just yet, but there seems to be potential. Alliance Potential: +1.
• DAN - I don't know what it is about him, but he's really rubbing me the wrong way. He seems really arrogant, and like he has no interest in me. He is someone I don't want around long. Alliance Potential: -10.
• DEANA - Another person I am not too sure about. I mean she pooped all over my frog legs offering and she hasn't been super social. Alliance Potential: 0.
• ED - Probably my favorite person to talk to in the game so far. We almost never talk game, which is always a great sign. I like him a lot, so I will definitely do my best to make sure he is safe when I can. Alliance Potential: +10.
• ERIC - I have a really great relationship with Eric, and we have known each other for a very long time. He's a very savvy player and is great at challenges so he'll be a big asset as an ally. He can be sneaky sometimes so I will keep him on a need-to-know basis. Though I know I'm the only person he knows, so he'll most likely stay loyal. Alliance Potential: +10.
• FAYE - I like Faye. She's really easy to talk to and seems pretty laid back like me. We haven't talked too much about game, so I am not sure where her head is at, but we'll see. Alliance Potential: +7.
• GINAMARIE - I surprisingly really get along with GM. She is super funny, easy to talk to and really positive. I can tell she is going to be fun to play with this season. Alliance Potential: +7.
• HELEN - We are in two BB games together so I think she has an expectation that we are going to work together, which is good for me, but i am not sure I want to work with her just yet. That's always the trick with playing with someone in two games, you don't want to screw up the other game. Alliance Potential: +3.
• JADE - The only time Jade talked to me was to get my album in the challenge, this doesn't bode well. Alliance Potential: -2.
• JEN - Jen didn't speak to me until she was nominated. She is probably going home unanimously. Alliance Potential: -10.
• PETER - I like Peter very much. He is very game minded and likes to talk strategy almost exclusively, which I don't mind necessarily. I think he is going to play really hard, so it'll be good to keep him close. Alliance Potential: +4.
• RHIAN - Really nice girl. Very social early in the week and then she kind of went really quiet. So I am not sure where this will go. Alliance Potential: +1.
• SAM - Really surprised to see him nominated and to hear he was anti-social. I have had great long chats with Sam and he seems great. I just hope he gets more social so he doesn't keep going up. Alliance Potential: +6.
• STEVEN - My #1 ally in the game. We are going to try and keep it under wraps a la Danielle and Jase. We are going to do our best to keep it on the DL, so we'll see. Especially since he is now the biggest threat in the game. Alliance Potential: +20.
So that's how I feel about everyone. I think things are going pretty well. I purposely didn't try too hard on the HOH because I didn't want to win, but within 2 minutes of logging on, I had 6 albums. I didn't really try to get the last one because Eric and Steven were going for it. I am worried for Steven that he won both. We'll have to have him lay low for a bit.
It's been a fun non-stressful week, but I think it's about to blow up.
