Week 1

So in just a matter of days, the game went from still waiting on people to check in to the conclusion of the first HOH!

I spoke with a couple of houseguests but really connected with Rhian, Peter and Faye the most. No alliance between the four of us have been formed -- I don't even know how the three feel about each other, but given how we all participated in the HOH and that Peter came in second, we could definitely be a strong group. I still need to connect with a lot of the other houseguests though, I will probably send out a couple of introductory PM's across the board just to get in these people's good graces. I'm sure they'll see right through me though!

The HOH was pretty intense, I didn't even finish so that was truly embarrassing! What kind of irritated me was that I thought I hit it off really well with Rhian so I thought she'd be one of the first people I trade with, but she was taking so long to get back to me! Hmm, made me wonder if she was first trading with all of the people she is MORE COMFORTABLE with than myself? Or maybe I am just looking way too deep into this! By the time Rhian traded with me and I had all of the people lined up who I wanted to trade with, the game was practically over! I'm glad it went by quick though!

Steven ended up winning, and I'm KIND OF concerned with who he will nominate. I mean, shit, hopefully he remembers that I did trade with him and therefore contributed to his winning? I do have a feeling that he may want to put up Jen due to inactivity, but as for the second nominee, I'm not sure who that leaves because everyone seems to be pretty active. If I get the chance I'll definitely try to see where his head is at. I'd hate to be the first person to go but there's always a shot at Veto!

This particular post will keep a running total on who I've come into contact with so far, and my impressions on them, if any ...

Amanda: Amanda was the first houseguest I PM'ed, only because I'm a huge Britney/Miley fan and loved her screen name. I just got a message from her recently saying that she wants to see me online! So that's good, hopefully another person I can make a good connection with.

Bart:

Dan: Spoke to Dan during HOH, but we couldn't help each other out.

Deana:

Ed: Spoke to Ed during HOH, we couldn't help each other out but I did check and see if I could find anyone with the albums he was looking for and vice versa. We shared similar thoughts on the HOH and hoped that whoever won would just nominate Jen and another floater.

Eric: Spoke to Eric during HOH, but we couldn't help each other out.

Faye: Spoke to Faye for my first time today, before HOH. Really great girl, I'm hoping I can work with her.

GinaMarie: GM was one of the first people to reach out to me on Aim, and was actually the one that told me we even had a challenge tonight! She seems super nice but our conversation died down a bit, I'd love to strike something up with her though!

Jade: Traded an album with her during HOH, but that's about it.

Jen: I'm talking with Jen right now and she's actually really pleasant ... it sucks that missing one challenge got her nominated but at the same time I'm glad it's not me!

Judd: Spoke to Judd during HOH, but we couldn't help each other out. He's one of those one-word answer kind of guys!

Peter: Peter was the first person I spoke to online, and we have really great flowing conversations as well. He's from Canada! I'd love to be able to work with him.

Rhian: Ugh I think Rhian may be my favorite and I'm probably getting played but luckily the stakes aren't for $500,000!

Sam: I'm talking with Sam right now and he's really ... interesting.

Steven: Traded an album with him during HOH, ugh I hope he doesn't put me up!

Okay so I'm not nominated, thank God. Though, I don't enjoy having my key be among the last ones to be pulled! I doubt either of the nominees (who are they again? lol Jen and someone else) will win so hopefully nominations stay the same. By the sounds of everything, Steven seems like he's going to be a power player as well, so I'll definitely have to work on schmoozing him over in case he gets HOH again before I do!

So it's Saturday night and I've chatted it up with GinaMarie, Jen and Sam. GinaMarie is real nice -- I love how she always approaches me and im's me first! I've actually never made the first move to im anyone, I tend to just sit and wait for people to come to me, and it's so nice! Hehe. GinaMarie is real nice, we may not have the greatest and longest conversations but I'm all for sounding invested and interested if it means she'll keep me around next time she's in power!

And then later on, probably within two minutes of each other, Jen and Sam both made contact with me, and I didn't realize until later on that they were the two nominees lol! I'm still going strong in the conversations so far but Jen is definitely winning! Her excuse for missing the challenge and being inactive on the boards so far is that she was studying for midterms, and she's pre-med -- like me! From one pre-med to another I can definitely sympathize that she was targeted because the workload is GRUELING! I wasn't eligible to participate in the Veto, but if I could help it I'd love to see her stay just another day.

My conversation with Sam had a lot of potential at first but then it just got really weird! I don't know -- I was so confused! I don't know if he was trying to be funny or whatever but he started talking about how his sister is a witch or how he wants to melt her and he's the wizard from Oz or something? It was funny at first but I didn't really know what his intentions were! If he was looking for a way to keep him to stay that definitely wasn't it!

Okay so following the Veto competition, Steven pretty much KICKED ASS, and now I'm a little worried! Clearly he's going to be a Competition Queen, so he's definitely going to be someone I NEED on my side (definitely not want, since he can probably beat me at everything!), or someone I need to get out asap. I was talking with Jen too, and she mentioned something about she thinks Eric can be the dark horse ... something I never even thought about but now it's definitely circulating my mind!

I'm talking to Faye right now, I really like her -- she's one of my favorites and we had a conversation that basically went:

Me: Well you don't need to worry about that.
Me: I definitely want to work with you.
Faye: Thanks!
Faye: Likewise!

I'm trying SO hard to see where her head is at though and she's not taking the bait! I mean, if we both just established we're interested in working together, I figured we'd also want to discuss who we can bring to jump on board with us, but she's playing it very safe right now ... saying things like, "I don't have any enemies right now, I'm happy with everyone I've spoken to so far." I want to push real hard for a solid alliance, I don't want any "Yeah! That sounds good! Likewise!" I want a "Yes, we're going to have a Final Three." I'm also a bit concerned because when I asked Faye about anyone else she enjoyed talking to, she mentioned Rhian -- which is great because I love Rhian just as much as I do Faye (and Peter), but if Rhian and Faye are already having great conversations with each other, I'm concerned that would put be on the outs!

I am not selfish or conceited at all, but in these cases -- I hate not being the center of attention I hate this sense of insecurity and I know I'm probably coming off as desperate to her but Jesus I just need to know I have someone I can fully trust! I guess I get paranoid real easily lol.

Ugh, seems like the majority is voting for Jen Hate to see her go! I guess the reason for her going is because other houseguests have spoken more to Sam than Jen? I guess, whatever makes them happy. At least Jen explained her reason for being inactive at first and it was because of school? We were going over the votes with each other and it seemed like Faye and I were going to be the only ones to keep her, so Jen just told me to vote with the house which made me happy. Also, I made sure to clue Faye in, who was at first going to vote to evict Sam -- I'm hoping by filling her in that the majority is going to go for Jen, she'll see that I clearly have an intention of working with her and will trust me more than I appear to trust her.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, I decided to just pop on Aim and see what was going on and alas -- Amanda is on! As stated earlier, I'm such a fan of Amanda because of her screen name: workbxxchbangerz! Work Bitch is Britney Spears' new song and Bangerz is the title of Miley Cyrus' new album, holla! Plus, she's also from California -- West Coast Alliance here! It's nice that not only one of the hosts is a Britney fan, but to have another contestant be just as obsessed as I am? Awesome! This bond has definitely crafted some type of unofficial allegiance between the two of us, and the more personal bonds I can form with people, the better! We're even trying to come up with a name for ourselves! The Womanizers? Attack of the Amy's? Working Bitches? lol. She'll be a fun ally.
