1. Ed Ed is playing a strong game so far. He's being extremely social and has made himself available to everyone. I don't think I've read anyone actually say anything negative about him. He has his top alliance/showmance with Sam, and he even has side alliances with Jade, Eric, Judd, etc. Many people feel they can trust Ed, and that will only help him out more later down the line. Right now, the only thing I can see that could possibly come back to bite him is his devout loyalty to Sam, because it almost feels like he would do anything for him, even if it may not benefit him.
2. Rhian Rhian has been a strong personality and entity in this game as well, I can already kind of see possible sides being drawn between Ed vs. Rhian, since he has his guy-pack and she has her Femme Fatales with GinaMarie and Faye. However, if the girls do bring in one guy each then that could stop the war and put the girls in a good position as well. Rhian feels pretty close to everyone except for Amanda, Dan, Jade, and Judd, which means she has had an active social game and will likely go far.
3. GinaMarie GinaMarie has been one of the most talked about individuals in the game, probably next to Rhian and Ed. I always see people say that they like her and they had great first impressions from her, and that they see her as a potential ally, which is great. She had a hand in starting her Femme Fatale group with Rhian (and bringing in Faye), and she wants to bring in Ed as her male counterpart, who she views as her "Nick." She is a strong social player, and I know she can be a strong physical player, so I'm definitely excited to see what GinaMarie may bring to the game. I definitely think she's someone to look out for.
4. Sam Sam survived week one by a unanimous vote. That right there is amazing. Despite being on the chopping block in the first place, he recovered extremely well, and obviously worked his butt off to ensure his safety. He has made numerous alliance with a variety of people- from (obviously) Ed, to Jade, and to Rhian/GM, and even to Deana of all people. He has worked himself into a position where people wanted to keep him alive in week one and not even a hinky vote was thrown against him. Good for him! And lastly, he has Ed practically eating out of the palm of his hands, and Ed has just as many, if not more, connections than him -- putting the two of them in great spots.
Mid-Upper Tier
5. Eric After being the last to check-in, at first I thought Eric wasn't up to much but it turns out he has been a little socialite and I am happy to see that! It seems he's basically talked to everyone and weeded out who the "social" players are from the "unsocial" and he has worked his way into an alliance with Ed, Judd, and Steven - which is very good for him. I've heard many positive things about him and I'm excited to see what's in store from Eric!
6. Faye Faye got pulled into the Femme Fatale alliance by GinaMarie and Rhian, which is so far her saving grace in this game. She wants to pull in Steven to work with the girls, which is great for both the Femme Fatale group and for Steven. For the FF alliance, it means powerhouse Steven will protect them, and for Steven it means they won't target him for being a powerhouse--yet! Faye has been a strong social player and I can see her rising in the future.
7. Peter Peter may be getting roped into the Femme Fatale alliance as a side-number for Rhian. She said she wants it to be a Beauty & The Geek type deal, which would be funny. People seem to find him endearing and fun to talk to, so that's working for him. The only things I can see working against him are the fact that he's a little naive when it comes to the game Big Brother (he almost voted out Amanda, who wasn't even nominated), and he has to vote publicly the first three weeks. I feel he will figure his way out of it though and be just fine. Right now his best bet is probably to work on his relationship with Rhian and stay close to the girls.
8. Helen I've read a lot of positive things about Helen. People seem to like her and trust her and want to keep her around. She has an alliance with Amanda apparently, which I can't say many people do, so that's unique and means Amanda will definitely have her back. No one really has said anything negative about her, other than it getting back to Steven that she thinks he is a competition threat, which it's likely most people do after a clean sweep. I can see her getting in good with the Femme Fatales, yet I can also see her doing her own thing and being strong.
Mid-Lower Tier
9. Steven Steven swept the first week, I am impressed! It's hard to believe he is topping off the "bottom half" of my rankings, but I feel like he could have played stronger. I've read negatives about him being hard to talk to, but also positives as he was able to find himself in a strong alliance of four (which Ed doesn't seem to have completely at the top of his priority list). People already view him as a threat and that will be good for him in the short-term because people are gonna butter up to him, but bad in the long-term when people look to take our threats.
10. Judd Judd is a fun character, and unlike Amanda- he hasn't let it completely take over his gameplay. People don't define him as "Judd the character" so that's working for him so far. He's been pretty social and people like him enough, but he is currently putting all of his chips in the Ed/Eric/Judd/Steven alliance, which Ed doesn't seem to have 100% at the top of his priorities. I do appreciate that he is connected to Eric and Steven though, because not everyone is - so they will likely have his back 100%.
11. Jade I like Jade's personality- she's fun and flirty, and I think she has what it takes to be a social star, but I am not seeing her full potential yet. She has made her Jam and Jaded alliances (with Sam and Ed respectively) and seems settled with that. I feel a lot of people will be with Sam and Ed, so it's not that much of an accomplishment, but right now it's her best bet, to remain loyal to them and have them take her far. Ed has already told her about his alliance with Judd, Eric, and Steven, so it seems it's working for her so far!
12. Deana I don't really know much of what Deana has done. She updated a lot of nothing in her confessional, but I did read that she and Sam had created an alliance, so that's something-- but really not much. I feel like a large portion of the cast will at some point have an alliance with Sam. She feels close to the Femme Fatale girls and Peter, so that's her best hope at this point.
Lower Tier
13. Bart Bart is kind of just chilling at this point. I haven't really read much of anything about him, no overwhelmingly negative and no overwhelmingly positive; I have read that he is a nice guy, though. As I said, he is just kind of there. He hasn't put much effort into his confessionals, and apparently not that much socially either- he said he hasn't even talked to Sam? I feel like Sam is one easiest of the easiest people to get in touch with!
14. Dan I think Dan looks fun and entertaining, and has a cute personality in his confessional so I'm excited to see him play, but he hasn't really hit the ball running as far as alliances go, and no one really sees him as someone they want to work with too much. I've read that Dan apparently "can't keep a conversation" and if so, is likely not someone people want to keep around.
15. Amanda Amanda is a lovable character. I say "character" because she is actually playing a good "character." However, I don't feel she is playing a very good "game" making her a not-so-good "game"-player. I feel bad, because I can see the spirit and the energy emanating from her, and I can see that her heart is in the game and she really want to do well, but I don't understand why she plays so hard as a character when it is clearly turning people off, and hasn't worked for 2 seasons... :\
16. Jen I actually feel bad for Jen. She showed up late and found herself in a shitty position due to an absolutely stellar cast. She fought so hard to try and save herself, and I have to give her credit where credit is due. It just wasn't enough, and maybe if she tried to convince Steven to use the POV on her or something, it could have worked. Unfortunately it didn't pan out for her, but she did try and I am impressed with the effort!
